Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The work has not been published and is not being considered for publication in another journal (unless a proper explanation has been provided in the comments to editor section).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The manuscript is between 6,000 and 8,000 words (including footnotes, tables, annexes and references).
  • The manuscript complies to the submission guidelines and to the APA (last edition) guidelines.

Author Guidelines

All the articles sent to Huarte de San Juan. Filología y Didática de la Lengua for their publication must be original and unpublished and sent through the link Submissions on the journal webpage.

Sending an original work to be considered for publication entails the acceptance of the publication guidelines. The academic board of the journal will carry out a first evaluation of all the papers submitted, which will be sent for peer-review if considered appropriate.

Copyright Notice

All articles are published under a Creative Commons (BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. Each article will be assigned a DOI.

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right to the first publication. Authors can sign additional agreements to non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the article (for example, in an institutional repository) as long as appropriate attribution to the original publication is provided. Articles can be uploaded to institutional repositories immediately after publication.

Electronic distribution of the articles (for example, academic social networks or personal webpages) is allowed and encouraged.

The journal reserves the right to publicise the work in social networks and other electronic means.
